Thank you for your special gifts to FWC and beyond at the end of 2017. Here are many ways you can help the community and around the world this holiday season.
We will host the Allen Jay Preparatory Academy for their Annual Christmas Concert. We will greet the students and their parents and guests and hand out gifts to the students. We are excited about the relationship we have with the school and hope you will join us for this occasion.
WAYS TO JOIN IN THE MISSION
For only $10, join us on the trip. We will leave FWC at 7am the morning of December 9 and return the same day at 7-8pm. We will travel to the impoverished coal-mining community of Rhodell, WV. We will bring smiles, food, gifts, carols and Christian love to those who have little hope.
You can sign-up to purchase gifts for one (or more) of the children in the community.
You will get suggested gifts and guidelines when you
sign-up for your child in the Main Foyer.
We would also like to send gifts to honor the senior folks living in the town.
Provide a food box to feed a family for 7 or 10 meals. Don’t worry, we have a shopping list for you to go by (pick-up your list in the Main Foyer). The list comes out to $48 for the 10 meal box or $34 for the 7 meal box. We do understand that it’s a busy time of year…
so, if you don’t have time to do the shopping...
You can donate the money, and we will do the shopping for you! In memo line of check write:“Christmas Mission Rhodell, Virginia”

This Outreach for our Burmese Community will take place right here at FWC!
There will be a dinner, Christmas Carol singing and Gift Giving. The evening will also have a Gospel presentation!
The dinner will be catered, but there are other ways to participate!
WE NEED AT LEAST 50 DOLLS and 50 TRUCKS (for children under 12 years old) to give to the children attending the party! These toys only needs to be about $10 each. We will have a collection location in the Main Foyer.
For more information or questions, you can email July Paw.
The next blood drive at FWC is scheduled for Thursday, December 14.from
2-6:30pm. There will be opportunities to sign-up for times to give blood. This is an easy way to give back at this time of year of giving. Please consider taking a little time to give the gift of life.
